Many art books for children are available and they not only teach kids about artists, they also inspire children to try different art methods and media.
Students love stories and reading them art stories is a terrific way to teach them about famous artists.
Art experiences teach kids to solve problems, to share and take turns, to fine tune their small motor skills, to communicate their thinking and to express their feelings and emotions.
With younger children, the process of making a picture, not the final product, is what is important.
Tip!! If you’re wanting bright, clean looking art for a bulletin board, watch the students as they’re creating and remove their papers before the papers get too muddy (be sure give them a new paper)!
